Are you an experienced Roof Truss Designer looking to advance your career, with a company that prides themselves on the development of their employees?

We are working with a leading timber manufacturer based in Leeds, they are seeking a hardworking passionate roof truss designer to join their team. This position has become available due to the upcoming retirement of a long-serving team member, an example of the low staff turnover within the company.

As a Roof Truss Designer you will:

  •  Reviewing architectural drawings and working on designs of timber roof and floor components
  • Producing 3D building models, inputting architectural data into specialist CAD design software
  • Prepare quotations and designs for client submission.
  • Develop cutting lists, schedules, designs, and working drawings for manufacturing and construction.
  • Provide technical support to a growing customer base.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Roof Truss design.
  • Proficiency in Roof Truss software, ideally Wolf.
  • Attention to detail and reliability, with a passion for timber engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
