We are seeking a talented Roof Truss Designer with not only a strong background in roof truss design but who can bring a passion for innovation and excellence to the table. If you’re ready to step into a customer-facing role and work on bespoke, challenging projects, we want to hear from you.
Role and Responsibilities:
Working on a good range of roof truss designs at varying degrees of complexity
Collaborating with clients and your colleagues to provide effective solutions
Getting to grips with company processes and procedures during your settling in period, learning the ropes via a supportive “buddy system” with an experienced colleague
Being customer-facing, using your communication skills and maintaining professional relationships
You will have the opportunity to visit project sites, contributing your expertise to the real-world implementation of your designs
Do you have:
Substantial experience in roof truss design, enabling you to excel in crafting complex and bespoke designs, to often challenging deadlines
A passion for design and a motivation to push the boundaries of creativity
Excellent communication skills, allowing you to interact with both clients and colleagues
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to evolving projects
An enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards learning and growth
Familiarity with metal web joists is a strong advantage, although not essential
A keen eye for detail
A good head for numbers, able to relate these to commercial possibilities
