A leading steel engineering and fabrication company is looking for ambitious Senior Design Engineer to join their team. This company is at the forefront of digital design and renowned for working on projects worldwide.

As a Senior Design Engineer you will:

  • Preparation of Design Briefs Method Statements, and Calculations for all types of connections.
  • Generation and checking Risk Assessments as relevant to structural design.
  • Use and understanding of design software similar to: Masterseries, Statica, TSD, Staad etc
  • Responsibility for ensuring issue and approval status of calculations is maintained and managed.
  • Liaison with Client’s Engineer, Sub-Trades, and all internal Departments.
  • Supervision, mentoring and on the job training of other team members.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent experience in steel fabrication.
  • Good understanding/application and experience of steelwork connection design.
  • Good understanding of Eurocode, AISC & CISC would be beneficial
  • Proactive with a knack for problem-solving.
