Due to an internal promotion, we have been exclusively appointed to speak to experienced professionals within the timber treatment sector. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisations internal structure runs smoothly to make sure that deadlines are met consistently and that there is an efficient working environment to achieve these deadlines.

As a Operations Manager you will:

  • Work as part of the three person senior management team to set goals to ensure company growth is met
  • Identify new opportunities at existing plants or new plants
  • Oversee all the treatment centres across the UK
  • Promote & champion a continuous improvement culture
  • Prepare budgets & schedules
  • Enforce safety within the workplace & ensuring H&S manuals are kept up to date

We would welcome conversations with Operations Managers who:

  • Have a background in timber treatments (other technical fire proof products considered also)
  • Who are strong communicators across all levels and will enjoy interfacing with customers
  • Can manage multiple sites across the UK
  • Possess knowledge of different legislations – COSHH & IDD
  • Hold an understanding of how production facilities work, specifically health and safety
  • Are willing to travel to different plants as required
