We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Manager to assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our client’s manufacturing facility. Your role will encompass all aspects of production, aiming to drive operational efficiency and leading your team to deliver consistent, high-quality output.
As Manufacturing Manager you will be:
- Overseeing daily manufacturing operations
- Implementing manufacturing schedule/programme, reviewing and adjusting the schedule where needed to meet project delivery dates
- Leading the production team, ensuring clear communication, training and performance and day-to-day scheduling of working hours
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, company safety protocols and maintaining a clean, safe and organised factory environment
- Managing and maintaining ISO standards, ensuring compliance with ISO and industry-specific accreditations
- Working closely with other divisions
- Managing the overall facility, including building services, utilities, and site maintenance
Are you:
- Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager (or similar) with proven experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Able to demonstrate your experience of managing and leading a manufacturing team
- Knowledgeable and experienced in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques and able to produce and manage production programmes
- Able to demonstrate your knowledge of panelised systems and read technical drawings
- Familiar with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
- Excellent at planning and organisation?
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain good communication with both direct staff, internal colleagues and external suppliers
