We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Manager to assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our client’s manufacturing facility. Your role will encompass all aspects of production, aiming to drive operational efficiency and leading your team to deliver consistent, high-quality output.

As Manufacturing Manager you will be:

  • Overseeing daily manufacturing operations
  • Implementing manufacturing schedule/programme, reviewing and adjusting the schedule where needed to meet project delivery dates
  • Leading the production team, ensuring clear communication, training and performance and day-to-day scheduling of working hours
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, company safety protocols and maintaining a clean, safe and organised factory environment
  • Managing and maintaining ISO standards, ensuring compliance with ISO and industry-specific accreditations
  • Working closely with other divisions
  • Managing the overall facility, including building services, utilities, and site maintenance

Are you:

  • Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager (or similar) with proven experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
  • Able to demonstrate your experience of managing and leading a manufacturing team
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques and able to produce and manage production programmes
  • Able to demonstrate your knowledge of panelised systems and read technical drawings
  • Familiar with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
  • Excellent at planning and organisation?
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain good communication with both direct staff, internal colleagues and external suppliers
