Façade Engineer

Southend (hybrid working available)

c£30,000 (DOE) + comprehensive benefits package

We are working with a specialist Engineering Consultancy to find experienced Façade Engineer / Structural Engineer to work on a great range of unique construction and sculptural projects.

As Façade Engineer your role will be:

* Producing calculations, drawings, reports and specifications for a range of products

* Carrying out structural surveys and feasibility studies

* Contributing to bids and proposals

* Attending design and site meetings

Are you:

* Qualified to at least HND level in Structural Engineering with at least three years’ experience post-graduation

* Able to demonstrate your understanding of engineering principles and facade physics

* Fully conversant with British Standards and/or Eurocodes as well as CDM Regulations

* Experienced in the analysis of structures and designing structural elements in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, timber and glass
