Job Title: Estimator
Location: Home Based with occasional travel to offices
Sector: Offsite Construction & Housing
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
- Are you an experienced estimator with a background in offsite construction & housing?
- Would you enjoy a home working role with a national contracting business?
You will be joining the specialist contracting division of a large, international manufacturing group. As a result of growth, this business is seeking a new estimator to complement their current team and is specifically interested in those with a modular and / or house building background.
You will be working on a range of contracts across modular, cold rolled steel, housing, hotel, student accommodation and retail projects. Reporting to a highly experienced pre-construction manager, you can expect excellent mentoring and development within the commercial team. Other colleagues will include estimators, quantity surveyors and commercial managers.

We would welcome conversations with candidates who:
- Have experience of estimating for offsite construction systems
- Are aware of building regulations and warranty processes for new build housing
- Are comfortable reading from construction drawings in Auto CAD and 3D Models
- Possess high levels of attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
- Are comfortable in communicating with a supply chain for package pricing and building into larger tenders
