Are you an experienced senior quantity surveyor who is looking for that next step in your career?
Would you enjoy working for a large National group?

This is a fantastic role for someone with a background in the highways or rail sector. You will be responsible for overseeing 2 – 3 commercial teams across the group of businesses. Supplying in to tier 1 contractors, your knowledge of NEC forms of contracts will be essential in the successful & profitable completion of each project.

As a commercial manager you can expect to:

  • Manage and motivate 2 – 3 commercial teams across different divisions
  • Drive margin improvement using budgeting & performance management
  • Take the lead on contract negotiations – NEC 3 & 4 subcontracts
  • Maintain & develop relationships with existing customers
  • Control construction schedules to ensure projects are delivered successfully & profitable

We are looking to speak to commercial managers who:

  • Have a background in the highways or rail sectors
  • Can demonstrate a strong understanding of NEC forms of contracts
  • Are able to manage and motivate teams
  • Has commercial experience dealing with a tier 1 contractor client base
