Job Title: Estimator

Salary: c. £45,000

• Are you an estimator with a background in steel or metal work?
• Would you enjoy a role with a specialist in access and architectural steelwork?

You will be joining a specialist fabrication business that turns its hand to a wide range of client requests. As specialists in access and architectural steel work, this estimating team often has to think outside of the box to turn client briefs into reality, so good skills in reading from drawings are essential for this role!

We are looking for candidates who have estimating and pricing experience in steelwork, facades, LGSF or curtain walling. Candidates will need to live in a commutable distance to north west Birmingham.

The Role:

• Using information from customer enquiries to put together a basic concept design and material list that meets all the relevant standards
• Composing clear and detailed quotes using in-house templates
• Join meetings (in person, on-site, or online) with customers when needed to progress quotes and pricing support and input
• Look over commercial and contract details and negotiate terms
• Offering technical and commercial advice to both internal and external stakeholders

The successful candidate will receive:

• c. £45,000 salary
