DfMA Designer

Ref: ARV-7173

Senior DfMA Designer
West Yorkshire
£50,000–£60,000 per annum
Permanent | Full Time

We are working exclusively with an offsite construction company that pride themselves in delivering timber frame building solutions. They are looking for a senior DfMA designer who will take ownership of design delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders and influencing how projects move from concept through to manufacture. This opportunity would suit an experienced Revit-based designer who is comfortable working autonomously, values accountability, and is motivated by the chance to shape systems and standards rather than simply maintain them.

As a Senior DfMA Designer you will:

  • Produce and coordinate timber frame and DFMA-focused designs using Revit
  • Take ownership of projects from early design through to manufacture-ready information
  • Review, refine and improve existing design standards and workflows
  • Manage priorities and workloads independently to meet programme requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure designs align with manufacturing and delivery needs
  • Provide technical input and guidance as the design function develops
  • Support continuity during team transition and future growth
  • Contribute to longer-term development of design and engineering capability

What we are looking for:

  • Strong proficiency in Revit within a construction or manufacturing-led environment
  • Experience in timber frame design or closely related offsite/modular construction sectors
  • Proven background in design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience managing technical interfaces with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to review and improve existing design processes

You’ll join a forward-thinking, sustainability-driven business that invests in people and technology. Expect a supportive team environment, with opportunities to influence continuous improvement, and make a genuine impact on business growth.

If you want to take on a leadership role with a company that values both your expertise and your vision for the future of timber design, apply today or contact Annie Parker on 0117 959 2008 for more details.

This employer is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, colour, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.
