* Hybrid working available – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Leading manufacturer of a sustainable MMC solution seeks an experienced Design Manager to take on a key role leading the design process in their projects working with education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
About the Design Manager role:
* Interpreting Architects’ drawings into buildable solutions
* Working closely with all colleagues and stakeholders from bid stage onwards
* Attending meetings as the project progresses
* Providing and developing scope of works, liaising with the relevant suppliers as well as your colleagues in manufacturing
* Working with the Design team to ensure provision of value for money
* Developing standards and product development
As Design Manager, you will have:
* Qualification in Architecture, Engineering or Construction
* Proven knowledge of either Timber Frame, SIPS or other closed panel systems
* High standard of written and spoken English
* Good understanding of Building Regulations and RIBA design stages
* Able to use AutoCAD and Revit software
* Passion for design and creative flair and excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, able to negotiate effectively and work under pressure
* Proven team player

* Salary (depending on experience, qualifications etc) £50-60,000
* Bonus (potentially up to 12.5% of salary) paid annually
