Maintenance Engineer required to join the team at a state-of-the-art factory in Leicestershire to work the afternoon shift (2-10pm), maintaining a range of CNC and woodworking machinery.

Your role will include:

  • Planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery as well as monitoring and maintaining the air handling plant
  • Supporting other departments and site services with any engineering needs

 

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving CNC woodworking machinery or other timber-related manufacturing
  • Qualification to ONC/NVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven track record in carrying out minor mechanical repairs and maintenance
  • Understanding of planned preventative maintenance and process improvement
  • A proactive, safety-first attitude, with excellent diagnostic skills

 

As Maintenance Engineer you can expect:

  • Salary to £38,000 plus annual bonus
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service (with potential to buy up to 5 days)
