Location:  Hybrid

Suitable home locations could include: Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Bolton, Scunthorpe, Burnley, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke or surrounding areas

Operations Manager now required to join a leading timber product company,

Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a new Operations Manager to manage 4 factory/plants from an operational point of view with a client focus.

This is a home based role with visits every 2 months to each plant, 2 in Scotland, 1 in the North East and 1 South East so good diary planning required.

As a Operations Manager you will:

  • Work as part of the senior management team to set goals to ensure company growth is met
  • Identify new opportunities at existing plants or new plants
  • Promote & champion a continuous improvement culture
  • Prepare budgets & schedules
  • Enforce safety within the workplace & ensuring H&S manuals are kept up to date

We would welcome conversations with Operations Managers who:

  • Have a background with Multi Site Management
  • Who are strong communicators across all levels and will enjoy interfacing with customers
  • Possess knowledge of different legislations – HSE, ISO, COSHH 
  • Experience of Factory / Plant Management, Leadership. 
  • Are willing to travel to different plants as required
