January roundup

January roundup

ARV Solutions had a great start to the year, with our January roundup full of company anniversaries, birthday celebrations, awards entries, and event planning for our 20th year in business!

Investors in People

Earlier in the month we welcomed Investors in People to spend the day with us as part of our re-accreditation. The day was spent discussing our business plans and people strategy. The whole team enjoyed a buffet lunch whilst getting to know our Assessor, Ciara, a little better. We are thrilled to have achieved IIP Gold accreditation for our past two assessments, and we have hopes for the next.

ARV Celebrations

We had TWO work anniversaries in January. Lucy has been with ARV Solutions for six years as our Office Manager, and Deb for one year as our Operations Coordinator. As members of our support team, Lucy and Deb are at the core of our company culture, ensuring the smooth running of ARV Solutions. We are all so thankful for Lucy and Deb’s ongoing dedication and support to our people and business.

Our Associate Director, Craig, celebrated a big birthday at the beginning of January, so of course, in true ARV nature, we had balloons, presents, and cake in the office, along with a planned night out. A few games of bowling and beer pong followed by food was a great opportunity to blow off some steam and enjoy a few beverages as a team.

Bristol Life Awards

Another great success in the last month was our nomination as a finalist at the Bristol Life Awards for their ‘People Services’ category. To be recognised for our hard work and dedication to the support of our people is a fantastic achievement and we are looking forward to the awards ceremony on the 16th of March. Read more here…

Modular Matters

Modular Matters kicked off at the beginning of February as our first industry event of the year. Jim, Rob, and Craig were in attendance, learning, listening, and networking. The two-day event at the NCC in Birmingham had such strong contributors from across the modular/volumetric manufacturing sector, covering topics within DfMA, Skills & Supply Chain, Zero Carbon, Digital Platforms, Modular Design & Social Value, and Designing for Modular.

Having a presence at industry events gives us a chance to have informative talks and much-needed discussions on recruitment issues within the industry. We want to help, and can support you with staffing, retention, attraction, benchmarking, employer branding, and more.
