We’re working with a well-established and rapidly growing specialist in light gauge and structural steel framing. With a reputation for precision engineering, innovative design, and delivering high-quality offsite construction solutions, they’re seeking a skilled Tekla Detailer to join their forward-thinking design team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to play a key role in bringing cutting-edge steel framing projects to life, across residential, commercial, and modular developments throughout the UK.
Your Role:
- Produce accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and GA layouts using Tekla Structures.
- Develop detailed connections, assemblies, and material schedules to support manufacturing and site installation.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and design colleagues to ensure seamless coordination from concept through to completion.
- Interpret and model architectural and structural designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with current standards.
- Support process improvements within the design office and contribute to the development of internal workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in steel or light gauge detailing using Tekla Structures.
- Solid understanding of steel fabrication, assembly, and installation methods.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to interpret complex design information and produce clear, high-quality deliverables.
- Revit knowledge is desirable
