Structural Engineer
Shropshire (Hybrid Working)
£40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Full-time, 3 Month Fixed Term.

We are working exclusively with a well-established specialist in Modern Methods of Construction, currently enjoying a period of growth. They are now seeking an experienced Structural Engineer who understands the relationship between design and manufacturing and can work collaboratively on modular building projects.

As a Structural Engineer you will:

  • Define and agree on design philosophy and fundamentals internally and with external consultants.
  • Manage tasks and deliver projects to the highest standards, demonstrating technical competence, financial awareness, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Supervise a small team of engineers and technicians, reviewing and commenting on key project deliverables.
  • Liaise with clients, identifying their needs and presenting effective solutions.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer
  • Registered as a Chartered Engineer
  • Prior experience in modular construction and DfMA environments
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and/or Tekla software
