Our Client

One of the longest providers of portable accommodation in the UK with a pedigree that stretches back over 75 years.  They are both profitable and have a reputation for looking after their employees.  You will be based at a large site close to York which employs  over 50 people and is managed by somebody who is enthusiastic, friendly and very approachable.

You will be joining a division that contributed nearly £19m to the group turnover and is enjoying good investment to help its continued growth.

The role

This role is primarily office based as our client tends to invite both their existing clients and prospective clients to visit their site of which they are really proud.  The site visits by clients show off their excellent facilities and their ability to deliver “product” of a high standard.

You will handle a lot of inbound enquiries committing these existing and potential clients to a visit leading to your design and estimating team delivering a competitive quote for you to close.  You will act often as the Principal Contractor and so you can offer a turnkey solution to include groundworks, services, installation, commissioning and eventual key hand over.  Their buildings are Building Regulation Compliant.

Target sectors include Education, non clinical Healthcare and the provision of office accommodation across most sectors (manufacturing, waste, utilities, councils and local authorities etc. etc.

About You

Whilst it is not vital that you have sold Building Regulated Modular buildings it is expected that you will have either sold or hired portable accommodation (can be site based) within the building industry.  You will enjoy face to face customer engagement but will have no problem of this being on your own site with them  coming to you rather than spending hours in your company car per day.
