Sales Manager – Roof Truss

We are proud to be working exclusively with one of our longest-standing and most respected clients in the engineered timber sector. This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable and growing manufacturer as they look to appoint a Sales Manager to lead their growth across roof trusses and timber frame solutions.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced and driven sales professional with a deep understanding of the timber engineering industry. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality structural solutions and have a strong track record in roof truss sales, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in driving sales of roof trusses and engineered timber products to contractors, housebuilders, developers, and self-builders.

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.

  • Provide accurate quotations, technical advice, and end-to-end project support to clients.

  • Work closely with design, estimating, and production teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote brand presence.

  • Keep ahead of market trends and competitor activity to shape strategy and business development.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in the timber frame or engineered timber sector.

  • In-depth technical knowledge of roof truss systems and their manufacture/design.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident building rapport at all levels.

  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and well-organised.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
