Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Manager required to cover Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire regions.

Home based role but would need to be in driving distance to these regions, you will be selling high quality solvents, chemicals and coatings into the Timber/Wood based product sector with a focus in the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors before the wood products come onto market.

What you’ll do as Regional Sales Manager?

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. These will take time and need resilience, determination and perseverance.

• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.

• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities using this expert knowledge to engage with potential clients.

• Collaborate with your colleagues within the team.

What we’re looking for in a Regional Sales Manager?

• Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally with exposure to a long sales cycle.

• A background selling solutions rather than “widgets” would be a definite benefit.

• Knowledge of the timber / construction sector an advantage.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• A passion for building and maintaining client relationships.

• A proactive and results-driven attitude.
