We are working with a great company with an established name in their sector spread over a number of businesses and over 1500 people in various locations across the UK.
Now seeking a Production Supervisor:
- Hands-on role
- Delivering to targets including output levels, quality, Health & Safety, Customer satisfaction, budgets
- Team supervision including managing team performance and staff training and development
- Identifying and driving improvements
- Ensuring employee resources and working patterns meet demands of production
- Providing support and cover for Managers when required
Do you have:
- Experience as Production Supervisor working for a manufacturer (ideally manufacturing for construction)
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices in manufacturing
- Proven experience in production and resource planning.
- Previous experience using an ERP system
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement techniques
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing setting
As Production Supervisor you will ultimately be working the Backshift (1645-0315) although initially during your induction period you will be required to work the day shift (likely to be 0800-1800). Working hours are 40 per week (Monday to Thursday) with flexibility for up to 46 hours (covering 1645-0445, coordinating with other Production Supervisors) during busy periods.
