Title: Operations Manager

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Location: North Ayrshire

Sector: Off-site Construction  

The Job:

Working in a brand-new state of the art fully automated Timber Frame Production Factory leading large team and reporting to the Head of Timber Frame Production.

You will be overseeing all operations and production throughout the site, ensuring all processes and outputs are aligned with company strategy.

You will ensure all products engineered on site are despatched on time and to the highest quality. To be successful ideally you will have in-depth knowledge of timber frame or roof truss, you must have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a proven track record of managing large teams.


  • Ensure company goals are met including safety, quality and service throughout the factory
  • Lead and manage Operations, supporting the site where required
  • Oversee projects, developing and implementing strategic change across the plant
  • Adhere and enforce Health and Safety across the factory floor, ensuring all PPE is correctly used
  • Act as a link between departments to ensure efficiency and cohesiveness
  • Ensure manufacturing procedures are followed in line with industry regulations
  • Oversee stock control
  • Review production schedules and take appropriate action where needed
  • Compliance to policies, quality, engineering and safety
  • Offer training and upskilling where required
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement


  • Timber frame and roof truss experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Operations management
  • Experience working closely with design teams
  • Motivate production teams
