Maintenance Operations Manager
Location: Essex + UK travel
Salary: £68,000 plus £5,040 car allowance
Type: Full-time | Permanent
A global provider of healthcare services and medical facility solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee maintenance operations across mobile and modular healthcare facilities. You’ll lead the maintenance team, ensure compliance, manage subcontractors, and support clients nationwide. Occasional out-of-hours work required.
What You’ll Do

Lead and coordinate day-to-day and out-of-hours maintenance activities

Manage and develop the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team

Ensure regulatory, clinical, and H&S compliance

Oversee budgets, reporting, and contractor performance
-
Deliver preventative and predictive maintenance strategies

Liaise with healthcare clients and support nationwide site operations
What You’ll Bring
-
Engineering degree + IOSH qualification
-
Professional maintenance certification
-
7+ years’ senior maintenance management experience
-
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
-
Knowledge of MEP, water systems, medical gases & BMS
-
Experience in healthcare, modular, or mobile facilities (advantageous)
