£35-45,000 (depending on experience)
Permanent – full time or part time
Finance Manager required for a specialist sub-contractor, working on highly individual projects. No two jobs are the same, with a range of both public sector and private clients.
Your role will be to take an overview of financial processes, for example:
- Working in close collaboration with other departments within the business
- Sales and Purchase Ledgers
- Payroll, pensions, and CIS
- VAT returns and compliance
- Control and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Producing various financial reports
- Monitoring and managing cash flow
- Reviewing budgets and financial plans regularly, updating relevant stakeholders
- Supporting project managers with job costings, financial tracking, contract amendments, retention, and reconciliation
Do you have:
- Proven experience in accountancy with financial knowledge and experience
- General management skills and outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume, diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach able to anticipate and resolve issues
- Strong in building relationships, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
Our client is located in a good Central Bristol location, close to both bus and rail connections. They operate a hybrid working arrangement (although it should be noted that there is some flexibility required here).
