Job Title: Estimator
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

Are you an experienced estimator with a background in pricing timber frame projects?
Would you like to work with one of the leading timber engineering suppliers in the UK?
Due to continued growth and rolling out a new product we are seeking to speak to experienced timber frame estimators to join one of the largest timber engineering business in the UK. You will be responsible for producing quotations in a timely manner for the sales team to deliver. Focusing on timber frame projects for residential sites, your background in timber frame will be essential as you will be expected to offer expert advice to ensure a smooth and profitable delivery process.
We would welcome conversations with designers looking to grow into an estimator position as well as experience timber frame estimators looking for their next challenge.
As a Timber Frame Estimator you will be expected to:

Have timber frame experience

Have experience of using Microsoft Excel & Word or estimating software

Liaise with the sales team to gain quotes and review

Ensure tenders are submitted on time and to a high standard

Be able to manage workload and work to tight deadlines
We would welcome conversations with estimators who:

Have a background in timber frame estimating

Are able to read from design drawings and produce high quality quotes

Can work well on your own and within a team

Possess strong communication skills across different levels

DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL – experience with different software packages such as Mitek (Pamir or Woodengine)
