Would you enjoy working for a family run business delivering new build housing solutions?

We are working with a specialist client who are looking to expand their pre construction team with a construction Estimator. You will be responsible for the pricing of new build timber frame housing projects, working alongside a pre construction & sales team to successfully deliver tenders & quotes to private and developer clients. 

As a Estimator you will:

  • Read from architectural & design drawings to perform take offs
  • Present back quotes & tenders back to clients directly
  • Assist the commercial department on drafting contracts & orders
  • Be willing to travel to site when required

We would welcome conversations with candidates who:

  • Have a solid background in the construction industry – timber frame would be beneficial
  • Possess experience within different software packages such as MS Office & AutoCAD
  • Hold strong communication skills across all levels both internally & externally
  • Can demonstrate basic design skills within timber (truss, joist or frame) – not essential
  • Are willing to work within a close knit team and on your own
