We are working with a well-established and growing manufacturer within the timber engineering sector, known for delivering high-quality roof truss and floor system solutions across residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join their team on a fully remote basis.

The Role:
As a Roof Truss Designer, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and cost-effective designs for a wide range of projects. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet both client expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
  • Design roof truss systems using industry-standard software (MiTek Pamir)
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy
  • Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and standards
  • Produce clear and detailed manufacturing drawings
  • Work closely with production and sales teams to support project delivery

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in roof truss design
  • Strong working knowledge of MiTek Pamir
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
