Job Title: Install Manager
Location: London (Southwest and Central projects)
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 DOE
Sector: Timber Engineering
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, practical Install Manager to oversee truly unique engineered timber projects across London. This is a key role for someone with strong technical knowledge, particularly in carpentry, who can lead teams on-site and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations for engineered timber projects
- Coordinate and lead small to medium construction teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Practical problem-solving and hands-on involvement in installations as needed
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines are maintained
- Manage site documentation, reporting, and IT systems relevant to project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site management within the timber frame or engineered timber sectors
- Strong carpentry or practical construction skills
- Ability to supervise teams and manage multiple tasks on-site
- Good organisational and IT/documentation skills
- CPCS AP ticket advantageous
- Flexible approach to travel across London projects
