Project Manager – Structural Steelwork / Offsite Construction

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Electric Company Car or Car Allowance

An established and growing specialist contractor within the structural steelwork and offsite construction sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This role has become available due to an internal move and offers a fantastic opportunity to manage full project lifecycles from post-contract award through to installation.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll oversee multiple live projects, coordinating design, manufacture, and installation phases to ensure delivery on time and within budget. This is an office based role with occasional site visits required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from contract award to completion.
- Liaise with internal design, production, and site teams.
- Oversee design approvals, scheduling, and progress reporting.
- Maintain strong client communication throughout project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within structural steelwork, metal fabrication, or a related offsite construction environment (e.g., modular, timber frame).
- Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
