Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

As an Estimator, you will be a vital part of our client’s expansion efforts, contributing to tendering and estimating processes as well as getting involved with the day to day running of the business driving overall development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll collaborate closely to strategically shape the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for projects in line with client requirements.
  • Actively seek opportunities for business development, fostering new client relationships.
  • Generate timely and well-structured quotes to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of the company’s expansion into new sectors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree-level education in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in estimating within the steel or construction industries.
  • Ability to read from drawings
  • Experience with AutoCad preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients effectively.
