Job Title: Sales Director / Business Development Manager
Industry: Timber Frame / Offsite Construction / Housebuilding
Location: Working across the South. Office in South East

Salary: flexible – with potential to £80,000–£90,000 basic + Performance-Based Bonus

We’re working exclusively with a well-established, family-owned, values driven construction business with deep expertise in timber frame and offsite manufacturing. They are seeking a Sales Director or experienced BDM to drive revenue and build relationships—particularly with regional housebuilders.

The Role:
You will lead all business development activities, working independently, though with full support as required from the MD, and backed by a strong in-house technical and operations team. You’ll have the freedom to shape the commercial strategy, in a business that values hard work, decency, and long-term thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies targeting regional (and potentially national) housebuilders

Build and manage client relationships

Leverage the company’s technical and manufacturing strengths to offer tailored solutions

Represent the company at industry events and in key commercial negotiations

Contribute to pricing and commercial decisions to make deals work in a tough market

Ideal Candidate:

Proven track record in sales, ideally within timber frame, modular, or building products (e.g. windows, doors)

Strong network in residential construction—especially among regional housebuilders

Commercially astute with a strong moral compass

Resilient, hardworking, and driven to win work in a challenging economic climate

Cultural Fit Matters: This is a close-knit, loyal team that values decency, integrity, and commitment. If you’re hungry, humble, and smart—and you want to make a big impact in a respected business—this could be your next move
