Quality Manager
£40-50,000 + Car or £7,911 Allowance

Key Skills: Quality Manager, QA/QC, ISO9001

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee two factory facilities with both automated and manual processes. You will drive product quality, enhance quality assurance systems, and implement continuous improvements.

Quality Manager responsibilities:

  • Develop/implement QC and QA procedures
  • Maintain quality documentation (manuals, procedures, work instructions)
  • Evaluate and improve QA processes for consistency
  • Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects (Lean methodologies)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications
  • Prepare for and participate in external audits
  • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and generate reports
  • Collaborate with procurement to maintain supplier quality standards
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments
  • Train teams on quality standards and best practices
  • Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and engineering to integrate quality at all stages
  • Support customer service in resolving quality-related issues

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field and ideally relevant qualification (CQM, CQE, etc.)
  • Strong quality management experience from manufacturing industry
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 standards
  • Proven ability to implement and lead quality improvements
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and requirements
