We are working with a growing modular building specialist seeking an experienced Design Manager.  Their success derives from the way they deliver their modular design and build projects by challenging the norm, finding innovative ways of working and utilising modern methods of construction to deliver the best design and delivery solutions for their customers.

Your role as Design Manager will be to manage and coordinate their design process.  This will include producing design deliverables on time, and meeting agreed standards, supporting the successful delivery of projects. You will be playing a key role in driving design quality, compliance and efficiency, and developing your leadership skills within a collaborative team environment.

Based at their facility in Hull, you will be required to make occasional visits to nationwide sites and other business premises, and hybrid working can be available.

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager with:

  • Experience in offsite construction (healthcare projects would be of particular interest)
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of design principles, regulations, and industry standards
  • Able to use design software and tools, with strong attention to detail
  • HNC level qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience
