On ARVIEW: I think the initially 1st stage video process has worked well. Not only is it an opportunity to be a little more relaxed but it also gives you the opportunity to put across your personality and confirm your skills to an employer which I am sure comes across better. than if you were in a potential employers interview/meeting.

In 35 years I have never needed to have to use a recruiter to find a new role, however, over the last 6 months, I have reached out to several companies.

The experience has been difficult and challenging, to say the least, the famous “we can definitely help” is way from the truth, applying for roles and never even getting a call nor an email back, you chasing for feedback and them not responding, it’s been far from what I would expect from professional recruiters.
