“Once again, we were superbly impressed with the Structural Timber Awards in every way.”

A few ARV team members went along to the Structural Timber Awards, and our Managing Director Jim shares his experience of the evening – “A great venue, much-complimented food, a smooth organisation from the Radar team as always, huge beer bottles, an amusing host with timber-related jokes (in Venn diagrams!?), and all the loveliest people from across the structural timber industry and their supply chains. ARV Solutions had a visual presence in the room, through our sponsorship of the balloons – after 8 years of this, the event is becoming synonymous with ARV Solutions, and we are delighted to support them in this way.

 

It is always an excellent opportunity for some of our team to invite guest clients, thank them for business, and get to know them better. Networking with this exclusive room is invaluable, to meet old friends, making new ones, and learn so much about what’s really going on (as well as plenty of speculative rumour!). It was very heartening to receive so many compliments and thanks to pass back to our staff, from satisfied clients who made a point of letting me know how pleased they have been with the service they get from us.

 

Did I mention we had 17 clients up for a wide range of awards, or that we’ve placed 28 people across the industry just in the last two months? The quality and the range of awards entrants were very high, showcasing the versatility of structural timber. Category one MMCs (volumetric modular) often get the headlines, however, the structural timber sector is clearly buoyant, bustling, and with plenty of scopes for a hugely increased presence across the construction industry.”
