Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Package

Do you a varied role where you will be instrumental in the commercial management of projects?

As an assistant quantity surveyor you will be a key figure in working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders where you will manage the commercial aspect on a range of different projects. Working for this well established specialist sub contractor, you will be involved in a range of different projects at once so communication and organisational skills will be key.

Responsibilities:

– Working with a range of internal teams to deliver projects to the correct price and quality
– Undertaking the pre-construction activities including agreeing the price, terms & conditions, payment terms etc
– Arranging payments and prices with sub contract installers
– Day to day contract administration
– Report project costs through a monthly cost report (MCR)

They are looking for someone who:

– Has a commercial background with experience in a similar role
– Ideally are coming from a sub contractor background
– has strong communication and administrate skills
preferably holds a degree in a construction field
