Planning Engineer

Planning Engineer now required to work with a $100m plus manufacturing business based in RAK with a focus on EPC projects within the Energy, Petrochem, Oil and Gas EPC sector.

This will be based in RAK, UAE

Job Functions

  • Develop delivery plans and analyse production requirements, forecast materials for inventory builds.
  • Monitor material flows and lead efforts to identify and resolve any supply chain disruptions or shortages promptly.
  • Create production schedules based on project requirements and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.
  • Continuously assess production capacity and efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks in the production process to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines and budgets, and ensure adherence to established milestones and deadlines.
  • Collect and analyse data related to material consumption, production output, and project performance.

Required Skill

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree (Civil or Mechanical) or equivalent
  • 8-12 years of experience
  • Experience of working within a Manufacturing facility
  • Proficiency in Primavera

This will be based in Ras Al-Khaimah, with a salary of 10-12k AED per month inclusive. No family benefits at this level, would suit someone already in the UAE only.
