P6 Planner


P6 Planner based in Cheltenham with hybrid working.  This is a contract role with can be full time or parttime and has flexible working.

The role


As a P6 Planner, you will play a crucial role in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 software. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of all tasks and deliverables, whilst mentoring and training a newly promoted internal Programme Manager. You will collaborate closely with project managers, factory assembly staff, clients and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Additionally, you will monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.


Are you?


  • Proficient in Primavera P6 software and other project management tools?
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office?


Do you?


  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field?
  • Have a proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction?
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to perform schedule analysis and identify optimisation opportunities?
