Our client, based in Leicestershire, is looking for a passionate and determined i-joist designer who is looking to develop their career. 

As an Junior I-joist Designer you will:

  • Develop detailed design layouts and specifications for I-joist systems using software and design tools.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate I-joist systems seamlessly into building designs.
  • Identify and implement design improvements that reduce material costs, enhance structural performance, and streamline installation processes.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

What We are Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience in floor design and/or cassettes.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in design software such as: Steico iStruct, TJ-Xpert, iPro etc.
