Job Title: Head of Manufacturing

Salary: £80,000 + Package

Location: Hull

Sector: Offsite Construction / MMC

Are you an experienced head of manufacturing or production?

Can you manage a specialist manufacturing unit of 100+ operatives, producing multiple jobs simultaneously?

You will be working with a long-established employer who can boast incredibly strong staff retention. With a string of recent internal promotions, a vacancy has opened up for a new Head of Manufacturing to bring a fresh approach to this busy manufacturing unit.

Producing specialist envelope systems for a range of tier one clients, you can expect a challenging in overseeing up to 7 concurrent projects through the factory at any one time. Maintaining accurate briefing and reporting structures across your production management and supervisory team will be essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with installation & supply chain teams to ensure projects are delivered on time & on budget
  • Oversee master scheduling
  • Implement & maintain all required factory and quality certifications
  • Manage the recruitment & allocation of labour
  • Work to a high standard of health & safety whilst producing high quality solutions
  • Identify and drive continues improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience within the offsite construction sector or automotive, engineering and aerospace production environments
  • Are able to lead large teams to ensure efficiency
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Health & safety focused (Hold IOSH as a minimum)
  • Can drive the financial performance of an operation
  • Commercially astute
