We are working with a successful business who provide an innovative building solution, from the design through to manufacture and installation. They are providing sustainably manufacturered and installed buildings and there is a capacity for a lot more.

Now seeking an experienced Design Office Manager to manage a team of Designers and Structural Engineers.

Are you:

* Highly experienced working within BIM process and with 3D BIM environmental building design

* Familiar with design for manufacturing

* Possessing an advanced understanding of PLM, ERP, and MES implementation

* Experienced and effective manager of people

* Member of Chartered institute (eg RIBA, CIAT, etc.)

As Design Office Manager, you will be:

* Managing a team of technical people (Designers, Structural Engineers etc) ensuring design programmes and delivered on time and to budget

* Taking a lead on all new projects (this will include setting up filing systems, product specification sheets, and project RFIs

* Managing and collaborating on structural engineering and SFS drafting models, window designs, and specification coordination

* Managing daily work schedules and monitoring their progress

* Leading client and team meetings

* Handling client enquiries which may involve escalating

* Taking a lead on quality checking processes

* Collaborating with Manufacturing ensuring design information is incorporated into workflows and work instructions

As a member of this company, in addition to your salary of £60-65,000 you will receive car or car allowance in excess of £6,000, a generous pension contribution and private medical cover for yourself and your family. Annual leave is 22 days plus Christmas break (4+ days) and statutory holidays.  There is also a discretionary bonus paid annually.
