Job Title: Contracts Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Package

Due to continued growth and success of the building division of this group of companies, we are currently looking to speak to experienced contracts managers who have a proven background in delivering new build and/or refurbishment projects up to and in excess of c£2.5m within a main contracting operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family run business of over 40 years who really do value their employees. Working alongside an existing team consisting of contracts managers, admin staff & directors, you can expect a collaborative working environment where support is always on hand.
You will be the main point of contact on each of the projects you work on from initial tender stages through to project hand over. Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, food and other industries the project values will range from £1,000 – £4million. This role is roughly 75% office based managing the contracts etc, and 25% on site managing site teams and checking on progress, safety, quality etc..
Day to day responsibilities:
Working alongside in house design teams on initial stages of projects
Establish working relationships with existing clients & potential new clients
Manage on site delivery teams to ensure a smooth installation process
Involved in initial tenders, pricing & responsible for final margins
Be the primary point of contact for direct, end user clients
Experience working on new build commercial projects
Understanding of tender and bid processes
Strong personnel management, being able to enhance team performance
Ability to manage your own workload
Excellent communication skills with strong client facing experience
IT literate – Microsoft Office
SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
