Basic Salary up to £45,000 + Commission

If you have an excellent understanding of any of the construction sector and have the ability to sell a solution-based construction product this could be your best career move. Alternatively, this position would suit a technical construction professional that is looking to try their hand in a sales position but hasn’t had the opportunity to do so.

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager professional who can sell health and safety solutions to main contractor companies across the UK, which will be a competitive market space.
This role will suit a Business Development Manager who has a proven ability/track record of building and developing relationships with any main contractors because you will need to understand/identify the correct people to talk to, to secure repeat work. You will need to be comfortable liaising with construction/technical staff on-site and internally such as (Architects/Technical Managers/Construction Director/Quantity Surveyors etc).

To apply for this role, you must have a key understanding of construction organisations to be able to know who to approach with this particular product. You don’t necessarily need sales experience, if you know the key construction contacts at construction companies to approach and would be comfortable in doing this.
