A well-established, nationally operating offsite manufacturer is seeking an experienced Façade Designer to join its specialist façade design team. The organisation is recognised for its strong technical capability, structured delivery processes, and collaborative culture. With a solid future order book and a stable pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with long-term prospects.

About the role:
In this key technical position, as Façade Designer you will be responsible for producing accurate façade design drawings that support early-stage design development through to manufacture and on-site installation. Working closely with internal designers, engineers, production teams and specialist suppliers, you will help ensure that buildability, compliance, and quality are fully engineered into every project before it reaches the factory or site.

Do you have:

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, and erection sequencing
  • Good working knowledge of cladding and glazing systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Revit
  • Architectural Technician qualification (essential) (Engineering-related qualification could be beneficial)
  • Proven experience producing design drawings for façade projects
  • Awareness of Building Regulations and other relevant legislation
